The rules for using Onkast, in plain language wherever we can manage it.

1. What Onkast is

Onkast is a platform that connects three kinds of accounts: Onkasters (people looking for opportunities), Creators, and Brands. Creators and Brands post Cast Calls describing an opportunity; Onkasters discover and apply to them. Onkast is the platform connecting these parties. It is not the employer, agent, or representative of any user, and is not a party to whatever arrangement a Creator, Brand, and Onkaster agree between themselves. Onkast is operated by its founder, based in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Onkast, regardless of account type. We ask you to confirm your date of birth during sign-up and will not let you continue if the check fails.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens on your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

When using Onkast, you agree not to:

• Post a Cast Call, profile, or message that is fraudulent, misleading, or charges applicants money to take part (a genuine opportunity never requires an applicant to pay to apply or be considered).
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, or puts anyone's safety at risk.
• Use Onkast to collect other users' information for purposes unrelated to a genuine casting opportunity.
• Attempt to access another user's account or Onkast's systems without authorisation.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, descriptions, and other content you upload. By posting it, you give Onkast permission to store and display it as part of running the app (for example, showing your Cast Call in the feed, or your profile post to your followers). Onkast is not a party to any agreement about how your content is used once you share it directly with another user through a Cast Call, application, or message; that's between you and them.

6. Reporting and enforcement

You can report a user, Cast Call, or conversation that breaks these Terms or our Community Guidelines directly in the app. We review reports and can remove content or take other action on an account when a genuine violation is found, at our discretion.

7. Meeting other users

Onkast connects people for real-world opportunities, but we are not involved in, and don't vet, any specific meeting, shoot, or collaboration that results from a Cast Call. You're responsible for your own safety and judgement when agreeing to meet someone or take part in an opportunity found through Onkast. See our in-app safety guidance for practical tips.

8. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can take action on an account that violates these Terms, poses a safety risk, or for other legitimate reasons, with notice where practical.

9. No payments between users (for now)

Onkast is currently free to use for every account type, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases active. Onkast does not process payments between users. If this changes in the future, these Terms will be updated first.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Onkast is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free, that every Cast Call is genuine, or that any application will succeed.

Onkast connects Onkasters, Creators, and Brands, but is not automatically a party to any arrangement, payment, meeting, shoot, or agreement a Creator, Brand, and Onkaster make between themselves. Each Creator and Brand is responsible for the opportunities they post and any commitments they make to applicants; each Onkaster is responsible for their own decisions about which opportunities to apply to and how they conduct themselves. This doesn't remove any duty Onkast has under applicable law, including our role in reviewing reports and acting on content or accounts that break these Terms or our Community Guidelines (see Section 6), or any other legal obligation that applies to us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the duties described above, Onkast's liability for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your arrangements or disputes with other users, is limited. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
